When you answer the security questions like:
Where were you born
Mother's maiden name
Name of school, anything that could be COMMON KNOWLEDGE about you

NEVER, NEVER USE THE REAL ANSWER.
FOR EXAMPLE- If you were born in Atlanta-- DO NOT PUT ATLANTA.

Just make up a city, name or whatever. You do not even have to use a real word.
All that is required is the answer matches what you chose.

Your County Clerks Office

The county clerk is where all the land ownership/deeds, liens, marriages, births, deaths, wills, name changes. etc. are recorded.

All records located there are PUBLIC. Anyone is allowed to view them and ask for copies. 

The records are kept in books even if they have them digitized too.

Some places have their records online now but many still require you go to the office if you want a copy. 

You can also get a certified copy which is a copy stamped and signed by the clerk to say it is a true copy.
